Grounding is a fundamental, natural ability. To be grounded is to be completely connected to your body in present time — to be “here now.” This natural way of being is hampered by fear and by being too absorbed in mental processes – being “in your head.” Grounding helps counteract fear and anxiety. To be grounded means you are experiencing the pleasure of being alive. Grounding is comforting and stabilizing. Enjoy!
